Wednesday Words of Affirmation

I believe words and language are important. The words we use can uplift us or they can bring us down. Words can build up our self-esteem or words can destroy the development of a positive self-image. I will share words that will affirm and lift us up. You can repeat these affirmations and make them your own to help reframe your thinking and develop a more positive mindset and response in the face of life's challenges.
I believe the words that follow "I Am" can shape how we think, how we view ourselves, and the way we respond in difficulties. Several times each month, I will share an affirmation to help us transform our thinking to develop a more positive mindset.

Affirmation: I Am Loved
Love is a natural human expression and need. Love is how we know that we are human. Love supports us as humans in being supported, heard, and connecting with others. One of my favorite scriptures, 1 Corinthians 13, gives us a clear picture of what love is. It tells us that love is kind, love is patient, love holds no record of wrong, love heals everything, and love is the greatest. When I meditate on this scripture, it reminds me that love is essential to living a full human life. Love teaches us how to treat one another with kindness and to forgive one another. Love shows us how it can be used as a soothing balm to heal many difficulties in our lives. I believe in love and its power to right many wrongs and fix many problems. Over the next few weeks, let's look at where we can incorporate love more in all facets of our lives.
